Easter Sunday

It was a quiet Easter.  The ward had a nice musical program that Brother Rasmussen narrated during Sacrament Meeting.  After church I hid Easter eggs filled with jelly beans and miniature Reese's cups and dollar bills in the backyard.  Jeffrey and Kaleb did the search and counted up the money.  Scout helped during the egg hunt, and it was fun to watch him chase the boys around the yard.

It's A Boy!

We had a nice Easter dinner tonight.  We had lasagna and garlic bread.  We were joined by Ashley and Caz, Tyler, Jaylen, and Baylor, and Kevin and Kaleb.  We played games after dinner.  Ashley gave Wendy a gift bag to open.  Inside it was a onesie that said, "My Big Brother is a "  along with a picture of a Corgi.  Wendy showed it to me, and it went over my head.  Then it dawned on me that Ashley and Caz were announcing that they are expecting.  They gave us a picture of an ultrasound with "It's a boy!"  We are very excited for them.  Ashley is about 14 weeks along, and the due date is sometime in late October.  It was a great way to cap a wonderful evening.
