Halloween Costumes

It looks like the grandkids enjoyed the Halloween holiday with costumes and trick-or-treating.  We stayed home all evening, and Jeffrey did most of the door answering and handing out candy.  We had quite a few kids stop at our house.  One of the last groups included Kaleb and his friends, but we didn't get a picture of Kaleb.

Camden Robert Alley is Born

Ashley and Caz welcomed their new baby boy into the world this morning.  Camden Robert Alley was born in Ogden, Utah at the Women's and Children's Clinic of the Ogden Regional Medical Center.  He was 8 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 inches long.  When the doctor and nurses saw him they all commented that he was a big baby.  He is healthy and handsome.  Wendy and I drove down in the afternoon to pay them a visit.  We each took turns holding him and letting Caz do the diaper changes.  Ashley is recovering, but it may take some time before she can do steps or heavy lifting.  They will probably stay at the hospital until Wednesday or Thursday.

Mechbeth

"By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes."  This is one of my favorite lines from Shakespeare's play, Macbeth.  Century High School put on a production of this play with a modern take, which is why the title was spelled, Mechbeth.  Wendy and I went to the show tonight.  Jeffrey participated as a sound and set designer.  He put together many of the sound effects used during the play, and he was the one to play those effects on queue.  The students did a nice job.  I told Jeffrey that this play is perfect for this Halloween season.  It has witches, ghosts, murder, mystery, and plenty of gore.  I liked the way they portrayed the three weird sisters and the ghost of Banquo, who appeared in stage fog from underneath the dining table.
