We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Our group included myself, Wendy, Jeffrey, Ashley, Caz, Camden, and Grandma Sims. This year we ordered a smoked turkey from Del Monte meats, and it was great. We also had mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, veggies, pickles, olives, and Grandma's orange Jello salad. The weather this year has been unusually cold for November, and so we stayed inside all day. Ryan, Megan, Cooper, and Beckham celebrated at their home in Bristow, Virginia. Kevin, Kay, and Kaleb traveled to Anaheim, California and spent Thanksgiving with Kay's mom. They also ate a dinner the previous day with Kay's dad. Tyler, Jaylen, and Baylor spent the day with Jaylen's family in Inkom. It was a relaxing day for us.

Drama Competition
Jeffrey has been working on a humorous act with his friend, Glen, for the past few weeks. They have spent hours after school every day, and today they participated in the drama competition held at Snake River High School in Blackfoot. His day started early because he had to be at Century by 7:00 a.m. to catch the bus. They performed their act three different times to different judges. Wendy and Grandma Sims went to watch him during their second performance. They were both impressed by it. The judges must have thought so too. Jeffrey and Glen tied for first place in their category and qualified to attend the state competition which will be held in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho from December 1-3. Jeffrey is super happy and excited to go to State. They didn't get back to Century until 6:00 p.m. And then he went with friends to see a ballet production of Scrooge in Frazier Hall at I.S.U. Busy kid! Wendy and Joyce went to Idaho Falls after their stop in Blackfoot, and they did some shopping for Christmas. They went to Bonneville High School and found some new decorations to use this year.

The Chosen (Season 3)
I have been anxiously waiting for Season 3 of The Chosen to come out. We found out last week that it would premier in the theaters, and the closest theater to us was the Movie Mill in Blackfoot. Wendy and I went to watch it today. We chose the 4:00 p.m. show, so we wouldn't be out so late. The run time for the first two episodes of the new season was 2 hours and 45 minutes. We really enjoyed it. I really liked Matthew's reconciliation with his parents, Little James's discussion with Jesus about not being healed, and their presentation of the Sermon on the Mount. This is such a great production.
