Wendy and I drove to the Conference Center this morning, and then we walked to the Tabernacle on Temple Square to watch Music and the Spoken Word. The Tabernacle Choir performed an Easter program with guest singer, Madison Leonard. The Tabernacle was completely full, and the performance was very good. Afterwards, we drove to North Ogden to visit with Mom and David. We called to let them know we were coming, and they got us lunch vouchers to join them for Sunday lunch. It took a while, but we had another Easter meal and enjoyed our visit with them.

Easter Dinner
Tyler and Jaylen invited us to their home for Easter dinner. We drove down in the morning, and we stopped in at Ikea. We bought some cabinets for a project we have planned in the upstairs guest bedroom. We arrived at Tyler and Jaylen's home shortly after noon. Ashley and Caz arrived soon after we did. We had a nice dinner with ham, potatoes, rolls, green beans, and orange salad. We got to spend time with Baylor and Camden. Jaylen then showed Wendy an ultrasound picture, and they announced that she was pregnant with their second child. We were excited to hear about the new arrival. They expect the baby to arrive this coming November. We stayed until late in the afternoon before driving to Clearfield to stay the night.

Major Snow Storm
It snowed all night, and it kept snowing most of the day today. At 5:30 a.m. we got the call and text message that school was cancelled due to the weather. Later in the morning I took Jeffrey and Kaleb to the airport to help move cars so the airport staff could plow a lane in our parking spaces. It continued to snow while we were there. I tried to clear off driveways, but the snow was so deep that our snowblower couldn't handle it. I had to use a snow shovel, but the snow was wet and heavy, so I kept taking breaks to stretch my back. I was stiff as a board this evening.

General Conference
We watched General Conference this weekend. There were some very good messages. I enjoyed President Nelson's talk on Sunday morning. He spoke about being Peacemakers instead of promoting contention. I especially loved it when he said, "Now, you may probably know someone who needs to hear this message..." After the Sunday morning session, we went to Grandma Sims home to eat lunch with John and Karen. Kaleb joined us, and he shared his pictures from his American Heritage trip. We had a nice lunch with roast beef, orange salad, green salad, rolls, brownies, and apple pie. Greg and Sierra joined us a little later.
