Jeffrey participated in a district wide band festival today that was held at Century High School. A lot of kids from several schools participated. Jeffrey was part of a Brass Quintet that played Fantasia in Fugue in D Minor by the composer Bach. Their judge was Mr. Helman who was Jeffrey's band teacher from Franklin Middle School. They played very well and Mr. Helman gave them high marks for their performance. As a result, Jeffrey will get to go to a school near Coeur d'Alene for the state competition. I was able to sit in the room while they were played.
