Today I shut down the counter early to join Wendy and Joyce at the theater to watch "Wicked". They arrived early and were among the first to arrive, and so they were able to get good seats in the middle of the theater. I joined them later, and by the time I arrived the theater was nearly full. We chose this particular showing because they added closed captioning, and I really enjoyed seeing the words as we watched it. This was the second time that Wendy had seen the movie, and she had told me that it was so good that I didn't have to worry about whether or not it would ruin the musical. I agreed. They did a fantastic job with the movie, and I think it will become a re-watchable classic.

Scrooge's Christmas - A Theatrical Ballet
So we kicked off our Holiday season by watching Jeffrey participate in this year's production of Scrooge's Christmas - A Theatrical Ballet. This is an annual production in Pocatello, and Jeffrey was asked to be part of it. They have been working on it for about a month, and this is in addition to everything he is doing at ISU. The performance was held at Frazier Hall at Idaho State University, and there was a large audience in attendance. Wendy and I sat in the front row on the balcony. It was fun to watch and Jeffrey had several friends from high school there.
