We rented a Dodge Hornet on Saturday afternoon to drive to Boise for a visit with Kevin, Kay, and Kaleb. The drive went fine, and we arrived at their new home about 5:00 p.m. After seeing their new place and relaxing for a bit we all went to have dinner at a Good Wood restaurant in their neighborhood. We had a nice BBQ dinner and then returned home for the night. We played Uno - No Mercy for a couple of hours. It took that long before we could get a winner, and that was when we finally decided to stop reshuffling the deck and play out our hands. Wendy was the first to lay down her last card. We had a lot of fun with it.
They had a guest room set up for us in their spare bedroom, and we slept well. We had breakfast in the morning with eggs and sausage. Kevin and I looked at his sprinkler system, and it seemed to be working well. Wendy, Kaleb, and I went to the community pool and clubhouse, and we swam for a little bit. The water was warm enough, but the wind was pretty cool. We stayed until about 11:00 a.m. before driving home. We stopped off at Costco to see if they had water bottles with the pop top, and they didn't. Costco was so crowded that we hurried to get away from it. We stopped at Shoshone Falls, but we were disappointed that the water level was so low. It was still nice to stop and rest a bit before finishing the drive home.
